Créée en 2019, Mailstone est une solution simple de gouvernance des échanges numériques qui assure la traçabilité des emails par la protection de l’intégrité de leur contenu et l’attribution d’une date certaine. La responsabilité de l’expéditeur est ainsi protégée et la valeur probante du mail renforcée.

Concrètement, Mailstone génère une empreinte numérique unique pour chaque email envoyé, lui associe un jeton temps certifié eIDAS par l’ANSSI et ancre ce hash dans la blockchain avec deux finalités : figer son contenu (message et pièce(s) jointe(s)) et lui associer une date certaine et universelle. Son mécanisme de demande d’accusés de réception, entièrement paramétrable et qui sont eux aussi ancrés sur la blockchain, est unique sur le marché.

La solution s’appuie sur une infrastructure blockchain souveraine et à faible empreinte carbone, celle d’Archipels.

Elle est protégée par un brevet et a obtenu de l’ANSSI la certification eIDAS pour l’horodatage électronique.

In practice, Mailstone generates a unique digital fingerprint for each sent email, associates it with an ANSSI-certified eIDAS time token, and anchors this hash in the blockchain with two objectives: to freeze its content (message and attachment(s)) and to assign an universal date. Its fully customizable receipt acknowledgment request mechanism, also anchored on the blockchain, is unique in the market.
